Biography

Marisol Pareja is a former Voodoo practitioner who is now an evangelist and author. She was born in Miami, Florida, and was raised in a family who practiced Catholicism, Santeria and witchcraft. Pareja’s father was a devout Catholic and heavily into occult practices as he remarried to her stepmother who was heavily into seeking counsel from mediums. 

As a child, Pareja was exposed to the dark side of spirituality and was taught that going to psychics and Santeria worship was just normal. Her best friend who lived across the street growing up was Cuban and her friend’s family practiced Santeria. She witnessed them having parties for statues and witnessed them offer the statues money and cakes. Even though Marisol did not participate in the occult activities going on around her, she was a witness to it all. Having never been presented the gospel message, later in life the devil led her astray through psychics. By the age of 35, she was on her way to being initiated into the third level of Voodoo under the Voodoo Godfather who told her that this was all the secret society of Jesus Christ. With no prior knowledge of God or what his word says, she believed him.

One month prior to her date of initiation she was told she had to witness a voodoo initiation ceremony, and it was there that she knew Voodoo was not the religion for her. She witnesses a girl become completely possessed and began floating around the room. Pareja was never actually initiated into the Voodoo religion nor did she learn any spells or incantations the entire time she was involved with them.  Watching this ceremony caused Pareja to turn all the way around in the other direction and she made Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior and has never looked back.

Soon after this event, Pareja’s life took a dramatic turn when she had a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ at a local church, which changed her life forever. She turned away from her former life of Voodoo, Santeria and Catholicism and began to serve Jesus. At the age of 39, she was baptized in the ocean with 500 other believers and recounts that this was the most amazing day of her entire life. She felt a heavy weight lift off of her and today, Pareja is an evangelist who shares her testimony and the message of the gospel all over the world. The Holy Spirit has led her to write and she is the author of several books to be released soon, which share her story and how to break free from idolatry.

Pareja is also the founder of MP Ministries, which is dedicated to spreading the gospel to the youth and adults all over the world. Her book entails how to help others break free from the bondage of satanic oppression. She is passionate about sharing the truth about the spiritual realm and empowering believers to live a victorious life in Christ.  Through her powerful testimony and ministry, Pareja has impacted countless lives and continues to be a voice for God's kingdom.

I believe that the Word of God has no errors and that the God  loved us so much that he sent us his only begotten son to save the world. I believe that Yeshua came to earth, suffered, died, and was buried. On the 3rd day he rose in fulfillment of scripture and that he is currently seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. This world is not his kingdom and that is why there is so much suffering here. This is the devils kingdom, not Yeshua's Kingdom. We are called to suffer on this planet, it is in the next Kingdom after we die that we will live forever.

I actively tell others about what Jesus did for me every week.  The video above that CBN did on my testimony has over 17,000 views and I update my blog with articles that I write to reach the lost online as well as in person.
